Use the tarot deck to inspire your journaling at this queer women’s & NBs social & creative group.
Lavender Bunch is a social group for queer women and nonbinary folks that meets a couple of times a month. The group is run by St. Andrew’s Wesley United Church. They’re located at 1022 Nelson St. at Burrard St. in Vancouver.
(Lavender Bunch is not a faith based group. All denominations – as well as atheists & agnostics – are welcome to attend.)
For centuries, people have used the tarot deck as a tool to help them think about their past, their future, and their place in the world. At this event on Wednesday October 21 from 6:30-8:30pm, people will use the tarot deck as a means to bring some new ideas and creativity into your journaling practice:
In this self-guided experience, participants will explore scents and reflection prompts related to the Major Arcana cards in Yoshi Yoshitani’s “Tarot of the Divine” deck. Art materials will be provided so folks can journal their responses.
There will be CQC staff at this event if you need a hand with anything. If transportation is a barrier, please contact Kelsey at:
