Connecting Queer Communities are having a night out! Dinner and a movie at the Anvil Centre on June 18th!

This event is now full! Check out other CQC events on our Upcoming Events page.

Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) is a social group for folks with cognitive disabilities who are 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or who want to hang out with their queer friends.

The CQC doc “A Place Where I Belong” screens at the Anvil Centre on Thursday June 18th at 7pm. CQC members and their friends can get dinner together at the Old Spaghetti Factory at New Westminster Skytrain Station beforehand.

It will be an early dinner starting at 4:30pm. We’ll finish by about 6:30pm and then head across the street to the Anvil Centre to watch the movie.

Folks will need to buy their own dinner at this event. This will likely cost between $40 and $50 if you don’t order alcohol, and it will cost more if you do.

By registering for this dinner & movie event, we will reserve you a ticket to the documentary afterwards, but you will need to buy your own dinner beforehand. Scroll down to register on Eventbrite.

If you need ASL interpretation, email Kelsey at kelsey@real-talk.org.

(If your plans change and you can’t make it, PLEASE cancel your order on Eventbrite or email Kelsey at kelsey@real-talk.org so the restaurant doesn’t wind up with a much smaller party than they planned for.)
