Connecting Queer Communities holds a queer winter dance party!

Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) is a social group for folks with cognitive disabilities who are 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or who want to hang out with their queer friends.

We’ll be finishing the year off by heading to a community dinner!

On Wednesday, December 17th, we’re heading to downtown Vancouver and enjoying a Queersmas community dinner with the two queer social groups of St. Andrews Wesley United Church: Lavender Bunch (queer women), and Word is Out (queer men). If you attended our Queer Prom at the beautiful cathedral this past spring, that was organized by the same queer groups of the church!

As the staff of St. Andrews will be preparing our meals, please register your spot for this event so they know how much food to prepare.

When: Wednesday, December 17th, 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Where: St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church, 1022 Nelson Street, Vancouver (click for Google Maps link)
Cost: Free, but you need to register so the organizers know how much food to make
Food: Dinner will be provided, let us know by email if you have any dietary restrictions

If you need help getting to the event, or you need ASL interpretation, email Kelsey at kelsey@real-talk.org.
