Connecting Queer Communities attends a queer women’s group to make pottery together.
Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) is a social group for folks with cognitive disabilities who are 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or who want to hang out with their queer friends.
At this upcoming event, we’ll be joining Lavender Bunch, a queer women’s group hosted by St. Andrew’s Wesley United Church. We’ll be making pottery together!
More about the group:
A 2SLGBTQIA+ space, with a focus on Queer women (Trans, Sapphic, Lesbian, Bi, Pan, Ace, Aro, +) and Non-binary folks. A space to explore creativity, spirituality, and build community. Whatever questions, sorrows, or joys you bring, whatever your spiritual background, this is a space to do life together with other 2SLGBTQIA+ folks. We hope to provide opportunities for support, self-expression, and connection with the divine. The Lavender Bunch is here to nurture your growth and celebrate your uniqueness.
When: 6:30PM – 8:30PM, Wednesday, February 18th, 2026.
