Connecting Queer Communities will be marching in the 2026 Vancouver Pride Parade!

Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) is a social group for folks with cognitive disabilities who are 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or who want to hang out with their queer friends.

Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) will be continuing to celebrate the 2026 Pride Season by marching in the Vancouver Pride Parade on Sunday, August 2nd. Wear your CQC t-shirt if you have one, and register your spot to join us! Also be sure to wear a hat and sunscreen!

We will be meeting folks street-level Costco entrance of the Stadium-Skytrain Station at 11am, and heading over to the staging area together by foot. (If you arrive by Skytrain, you will take the stairs or elevator DOWN from the platform – not up.)

For this CQC event, we’re asking folks to bring fare for the Skytrain ride, as well as some money if they want to buy food or drinks at the end of the parade. If you need help getting to Vancouver Pride Parade, or you need ASL interpretation, email Kelsey at kelsey@real-talk.org.
