Connecting Queer Communities wraps up Pride season at the New Westminster Pride on Saturday August 15th!

Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) is a social group for folks with cognitive disabilities who are 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or who want to hang out with their queer friends. We will be heading over to New Westminster Pride on Saturday August 15th.

We will me meeting outside of the Old Spaghetti Factory at New Westminster Skytrain Station at 3pm. From there, we’ll head over to the street Festival. There will be booths, vendors, food trucks, sunshine, and amazing entertainment to check out. Wear your CQC t-shirt if you have one, and register your spot to join us! Also be sure to wear a hat & sunscreen!

For this CQC event, we’re asking folks to bring fare for the Skytrain ride, as well as some money if they want to buy food or drinks at the event. If you need help getting to New Westminster Pride, or you need ASL interpretation, email Kelsey at kelsey@real-talk.org.
