On February 18th, queer women from CQC attended Lavender Bunch’s monthly event to make Lunar New Year Pottery.
Lavender Bunch is a queer women’s group hosted by St. Andrews Wesley United Church. They gather twice a month and do crafts, arts, and enjoy a meal together. This event was celebrating the Lunar New Year, and we talked about the year of the fire horse and made pottery together. CQC members who identify as bisexual and pansexual gathered with lesbian elders and made art, chatting about what their sexual orientation means to them and how faith has intersected with their life experiences. We hope to go back soon!
