Connecting Queer Communities wraps up Pride season with a booth at New Westminster Pride on Saturday August 15th!
Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) is a social group for folks with cognitive disabilities who are 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or who want to hang out with their queer friends. We will have a booth at New Westminster Pride on Columbia St. on Saturday August 16th.
If you want to help us set up the booth, please arrive at 2pm at 336 Columbia St.
Don’t want to help with setup? No problem, just come by the booth on Columbia St. any time between 3pm and 5pm and hang out. There will be other booths, vendors, food trucks, sunshine, and amazing entertainment to check out. Wear your CQC t-shirt if you have one, and register your spot to join us! Also be sure to wear a hat & sunscreen!
For this CQC event, we’re asking folks to bring fare for the Skytrain ride, as well as some money if they want to buy food or drinks at the event. If you need help getting to New Westminster Pride, or you need ASL interpretation, email John at john.woods@gobaci.com.
