Mental health problems are normal, and during a crisis it can be good to reach out for support. Sometimes people are curious about what will happen if they call the 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline. Will the operator tell their family or their staff? Will the operator send emergency services to get them even if they don’t want that to happen?
