Got a skill you’re ready to share with the world? Come to our open stage talent show and shine like the star you are!
Whether it’s playing an instrument, telling jokes, doing card tricks, performing spoken word / poetry, doing drag, dancing, fortune telling, singing karaoke, lip syncing, or doing a funny impersonation of Chappell Roan – this is your time to shine! Connecting Queer Communities is holding a talent show on Friday March 13 from 7-9 pm. It’s an open stage, so anyone who wants to perform is welcome. We’ll have a sound system and a mike for karaoke, a piano keyboard, an electric and an acoustic guitar on-site and available to borrow on the night.
The event happens at Wildfires Book Shop at 712 12th St in New Westminster. You can catch the #112 Bus at Edmonds Skytrain Station or New Westminster Skytrain Station, and it will take to the Bookshop on 12th St.
IMPORTANT: If you want to book your spot on stage, email Kelsey at: kelsey@real-talk.org
Don’t feel like performing? No problem! We’d still love to see you. Come on down, cheer on your friends, have some food and drink. Whether you’re 2SLGBTQIA+ or you just want to hang out with your queer friends, you are welcome onstage or in the audience.
