Connecting Queer Communities heads to an anime-themed drag show in East Vancouver!
Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) is a social group for folks with cognitive disabilities who are 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or who want to hang out with their queer friends.
At this upcoming event, we’ll be heading to The Birdhouse in East Vancouver to watch ANIME FANDOM: An Anime-themed drag show! There will be Drag Kings, Drag Queens, and Drag Things in anime costumes and makeup. There’s also a cosplay contest, so come in cosplay and you could win $100!
When: Saturday, October 25th, 6:30 – 9pm
Where: The Birdhouse, 44 West 4th Avenue (click for Google Maps link)
Cost: We have purchased a limited number of tickets, so email Kelsey is you’d like one!
Food: There won’t be food available for purchase at the event, so be sure eat beforehand. If you’d like to buy a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) make sure to bring some money with you!
