On Friday, December 8th, Connecting Queer Communities is excited to host its first-ever Queer Prom!
Did you not get the prom of your dreams when you were growing up? It’s your time to shine! This prom is a celebration for folks with cognitive disabilities! Whether you’re 2SLGBTQIA+, curious, questioning, or just want to hang out with your queer friends, come and party with us! Allies are WELCOME at the joyous queer event!

The event will take place at the BACI New West Office. It will be free, and there will be snacks, decorations, and music! Feel free to dress as fancy or casual as you want, this is all about you!
When: Friday, December 8, 7pm – 9pm
Where: 336 Columbia Street, New Westminster (this is the BACI New West Office, it’s nearby to the Columbia Expo Skytrain Station)
How Much: Free!
Dress Code: Wear whatever you feel best in! Dress up, dress down, be fancy, be casual, whatever you think when you think prom!
